These two places are again, very significant places in Ambikapur. Legend says that these are the places where Rama and Sita spent their period of 14 years in exile. Bengra is also believed to be Sita’s birthplace.

Ambikapur city is quite well-connected to all the surrounding states of Chhattisgarh. The nearest airport is Raipur Airport. Raipur city is located at a distance of 350 km from Ambikapur. If one wants to travel by train, one can catch the overnight express that runs between the city of Durg and Ambikapur daily.
